...ok, not really! But we were just talking in the ToS chat about Titanfall 2, and it's fashinating to me how eerily similar it is to Avatar at times. Just check out this scene from the beginning of the game as you're on a foreign planet filled with lush jungles and tries to escape an alien beast:

Or towards the end of the game where you are running on top of the ISV Venture Star a transport ship, desperately trying to reach the Tree of Souls Ark in time:

I'm guessing the similarities are purely coincidental, especially since the rest of the game doesn't really follow any sort of similar themes, but I always found it fun to revisit these parts of the game since they really do evoke Avatar a bit!

Iplayed this game and it is amazing. Even the first one was great and so much adrenalinic in multiplayer. But yes it have some similiarites even because the IMC is a company that want to make money with planets resources and control everything and then we have the militia that want them to left.

The game in its entirety may not have been intended to reference / evoke Avatar, I agree. But if those scenes and images have not been designed specifically to remind of the Tree of Souls attack scene in Avatar, then I am the emperor of Europe. :P

I know videogame developers like their references and easter eggs. This just does not look coincidental to me. If the game had been released before Avatar, it would be a different matter, but that's not the case.
