The Browser War.

I changed from IE8 to Firefox recently and all I can say is... wow, why didn't I change before now? It is a lot faster for me, is waaay more customizable with add ons and extensions, and just all around is way better for me.

I use Internet Explorer. But personally, I don't care about which is better. I just browse websites and not much more. I don't care about features or anything like that.

It's not about customization, its about safety and speed. IE has neither.

To be fair, IE's speed is improving, although security and safety are still lagging behind. It still has the worst addon support of any browser (although it does still have more builtin functionality than chrome :P ).

People who prefer their internet to move fast.

Well, as a Chrome user.. I recommend Chrome. It does everything Firefox does with a better interface and speed.

Opera is quite good too. I was Opera user few years ago but moved to firefox and later, Chrome which I'm using atm.

Opera has become MUCH better the recent years.

Opera 11 got released just a few days ago, and it's better than ever. You should try it out, Fosus ;)

Save/load sessions?
drop down search selection?
control over page rendering settings?
DownThemAll?
geoIP of servers?
HTTP header viewer?
Screencap pages?
Spoof user agent?
Greasemonkey script support?

a menu bar?
an RSS reader? :P

:P
Chrome is missing way too much to be a useful browser.

Chrome does almost every one of those except for the user interface elements (Ofc they have different interfaces:P) I'm too bored to shoot back at you with a list of Chrome features that Firefox lags. And I'm not against Firefox anyway. I just always move on to better browser once I find one.. ;)

EDIT: I'll take a look at the new Opera. at least it's not done in ****ty GTK+ like Chrome...
EDIT2: Meh.. scrolling lags like mad in Neytiri HD pic thread. Thanks but no thanks Opera :(

Guess who's back to using Firefox? *points at self*

Scrolling picthreads and FB in Chrome lags worse than my brain. So **** you Chrome. It has only gotten worse each new version.

Firefox almost drove me nuts already but at least I can scroll the pages. The interface is also much better than it used to be, though I still don't understand the idea of separate searchbox.
