Get it! It's amazing! :D I never played other elder scrolls, but imagine a medieval fallout with magic and mythical creatures! simply awesome and isn't even nearly as buggy as people make it to be, in 40 hours of playtime the game froze on me like 3 times and I had like 1 buggy enemy body and 1 bugged objective marker (travelling fixed both). Beautiful nature scenery, interesting plot - not just the main quest line - there is an unbelievable depth in this game, huge backstory and insane number of characters with unique dialogues that react to your current situation naturally, without ever feeling scripted. Not to mention huge world full of original places and absolutely no sign of copy&paste in the map. This game is ****ing awesome! :D

Great game. I was expecting it to be insanely buggy since it's based on the same engine as Fallout 3 :P, but so far I've only had one crash.

Great game, although there is too much walking around :P

I have played about 20 hours of it. Got it for PC instead of 360 because although I liked Oblivion, I hated the loading screens all the time. On PC there is practically no loading on Skyrim. Haven't seen it on 360 yet So I can't compare.

I really like how you can have companions helping you fight. I use them mostly to help carry my loot around. The Dragons seem fairly common though. It's a little od to be fighting Dragons more often than wolves and other monsters. EIther way they are a nice challenge and good money.

This is my perfect game :) I have played Morrowind and Oblivion, but this one is the best in my opinion. :)

Hmmm, for me dragons are not so common though. Maybe because I'm not focusing on the main campain so much?

Got it a little while ago, definitely worth it, I must say. I've been spending ages just on the Daedric Prince quests though. :P

Ah the Companions are the best faction in my opinion. Though now that I've finished the Companion quests I don't want to join any other faction. :)

I spend heaps of time looking for all the shouts instead of doing much of the main quest. :D

You seriously have to get the Wabbajack. It can turn bandits into little rabbits. :) Though it could turn rabbits into trolls as well. O.O

My favourite side quests are the Stormcloaks', the Companions', and some of the random ones (like the Dwemer city under Markarth :) )
Hmm I didn't join any faction yet, but I was thinking of joining imperials because whiterun is imperial and I don't want to attack my favourite city. :S (and also I'm a wood elf and stormcloacks are a bit racist lol) Can you be a part of companions and imperials at the same time? Also, how do you get more quests inside the dwemer city in Markath? I only had the one where I had to kill the spider boss and also the one that activated the automatons inside the city, but I didn't find any more quests. Is that all? :)

I gotta try it when I go outside, but I'm struggling to carry all the things I have. Mainly because I'm lugging like 300 pounds of all different kinds of potions lol. Only tried it once so far on the guy that speaks near the big tree in whiterun lol, guards weren't happy about that. :xD:

(cough) Turns Flame Atronach into Dremora lord. (cough) :shoop:

Also, forgot to post this earlier, but the Thieves Guild questline is absolutely awesome. And it gets even more awesome when you do a pledge to Nocturnal (Daedric prince of shadows and such) and get Nightingale armour. :D

You have to take Whiterun for either side, it's unaligned. It's the same in the end except that the Stormcloaks install the leader of the Grey-Mane clan as Jarl, and the Empire do with the leader of the Battle-Borns. That's the only difference :P, and I'd say the empire and Stormcloaks are honestly as bad as each other - the Empire is a Thalmor puppet government.

Once the quest in the dwemer ruins is done, it's done. you need to find more - the College of Winterhold quest line will get you to some.

Ah so you have it then. :) Maybe try getting some enchanted jewellery or armour that lets you carry more. Though I think it would be funny to see what happened to a guard if you got them with the wabbajack.

Why not? I'm pretty sure you can join any number of factions in the game, which means you can be both a companion and a member of the Imperial Legion. I'm not sure about the Dwarven ruins though, someone else might know.
If you want to read a bit, this is some interesting reading on the Stormcloaks, Thalmor and Imperials:

Full glass armour, plus nearly all Daedric artifacts, and an epically modded greatsword = Happiness. :awesome:

On the subject of the civil war though, I would more readily join the Imperial Legion. Looking at the bigger picture, it would help the Empire more, and therefore be more detrimental to the Aldmeri Dominion. Also, I suppose I was shown the light considerably by some of the people in Solitude. Especially the court wizard:

"The Dominion is a sleeping beast that Skyrim can not slay alone. And worshiped or not, Talos the god was once Tiber Septim the man, and this is his Empire."

Right. Just completed the main quest, so here's a very important point: you can join the Legion or Stormcloaks after the main quest, I believe, so don't worry about that. :D

I prefer dragonplate armour and a daedric battleaxe, all improved to legendary and enchanted :D

That would apply if the empire was fighting the Thalmor (in which case, Skyrim would have no reason to go to war against them), but not when ruled by them. After all, it's said the same about the actual Empire right up until the Legate gets killed (I let Ulfric Stormcloak do it, for being awesome :D ).

True, but for Level 30, I think that's pretty epic. :D

Hmm. I guess I'll have to try the Imperial quest line then. After Boethiah and Vaermina's quests, of course. :P
