My core interests are what angles Disney is gong to take in presenting this "experience" place ,, and what take away impression it will leave with guests ,, not just what the press have to say in reviewing it though things have been quite posiive given what was said with there early impressions as to building it in the first place , because it takes place in a distant future timeline after any conflicts have taken place in a time of peace and presents things the Na'vi want to teach "us" (and I am very thankful they did not place Disney cast in Na'vi costumes to try and play there role as that simply would not work) as well as how it will evolve to stand the test of time and reflect the root values the film stands for (concerns of over marketing hurting core values still there) the Alpha centari expeditions angle as well as dealing with believability issues given the physical travel time to get to Pandora for "tourists" visiting this world ,,also from another simple standpoint they do not address how such "tourists" have now come to be able to breath the planets toxic to humans atmosphere as well as how they are not becoming easy "prey" to some of the large carnivore creatures that live there.. in truth for them to walk the forest paths they would have to wear exopacks or be enclosed in some kind of sealed environment clear tunnel filled with breathable air . to be inline with animal kingdoms values and the films ethos they created a "refective" venue called the Pandora Conservation Initiative this creates a "bridge" is also inline with aspects of the films core ethos ,, as it provides a refective education venue that relates back to "The intrinsic value of Nature" on a number of levels .. this is a natural given there core agenda as a whole with what guests will take away from there experience .. great example here.. they also touch on Na'vi spiritual perspectives and relations from a gut feeling experience perspective ,, something that cant be intellectually explained but only experienced inside.
