As Inheritance Cycle fans may know, the fourth chapter of the fourth book was released for us, entitled "King Cat" :D
However, it is only available if you purchase Brisingr in paperback, which I haven't :( I already have it in hardback
You can view the Shur'tugal.com article here. It contains a review, analysis and also some theories

If anyone has the chapter, I would be very interested. Hint, hint..... :P

I really want it, maybe tomorrow I will sit in a bookstore and read it and then shelf it :P
Quick and cheap entertainment (btw, also how I like my women. JOKE :P)

About frickin time! i swear that kid takes longer and longer to write the books. And whats worse (at least in my opinion) is that he's become more and more like J.R.R. Tolkien, the one who wrote the hobbit and LOTR. The story itself is so awsome, but the writing style takes foooorrrreeevvveeerrrr to get to the point.:S I had such a hard time with Brisingr. But I can't complain . . .Eragon was the actual book that got me to love reading:). I just hope they are able to save Murtagh! He's my favorite!I think the actor, Garrett Hedlund, who played him in the movie (which sucked) hit his character spot on! I just watch the movie for him.:love2::awesome::rolleyes:
BTW does anyone know if they are planning a remake?:hmm:

I like his writing style - I am a fast reader, which probably helps, but the descriptions give a real sense of things, while still giving the opportunity to fill the rest in with your imagination. While there are large amounts of story between major events, I never really get the feeling that it isn't going anywhere.

I'm just wondering how long Inheritance will be :)

yeah. But unfortunately I'm not as much a fast reader as other people; to me, not only does it wear me out to mull over all the discriptions of places and things, but also, he describes everything with so much detail that at times, it feels like he's not giving me enough room for my own imagination. True, there are sometimes when all the details come in handy, but honestly it was tedious to read.:(

I really didn't find it tedious at all. For me it was a non-stopper, I couldn't stop reading any of them!
I would love to see a remake of the movie. I'm a loyal fan and so still watch it despite how mediocre it is. It is just one interpretation of his writing which indulges certain aspects of my imagination, gives me a visual to match to the written story if you understand.
However, as I said, I'd love to see a more accurate remake.
In other news: Inheritance is out in 2 months time!!!

They're long books, certainly. Myself, I read through Eldest and Brisingr in less than a day and in 1 or 2 sittings. I expect to do the same for Inheritance :)

The movie makes me angry. I haven't rewatched it since I saw it when it first came out. Not only is a remake unlikely, but it also managed to effectively kill off interest for movies based on fantasy books in general, I think - all there has really been since was HTTYD, which was animated and so considered very differently to live action.

Yeah, I stayed hopeful all though the various worrying reports and photos, I kept shurtugal.com in my bookmarks bar and checked it every day, sometimes more than once. I saw the film the day it opened in my local cinema, and I was hugely disappointed.

The problem with a remake was they would have to be extremely clear it wasn't anything to do with the earlier one, which even remakes 20 years on don't always do. I'd love to see one done properly... :(

I always hate this. You wait for so long to hear the end of a story and then... That's it. You're done, game over, end of line. Now I'll wallow in misery and listen to "Epilogue" from Halo Reach on repeat till I find something new to fill the hole.

Also, **** that was sad. I mean really, had to go the whole nine yards TWICE for gods sake. CAN NOBODY HAVE HAPPY ENDING?

I know. I really hope he didn't do that just to bait and switch the haters, because they will complain anyway, As always, haters gonna hate.

I've been wanting to reread the entire series since finishing Inheritance, but I just haven't been able to bring myself to now... :(

I don't want to start loving the characters again.
