Avatar the Game

I know the game is quite old but who's up to playing again? I got the urge to play but I'd rather have another Avatar fan alongside the ride. The journey through Pandora should not be experienced alone.......

I just recently finished playing it again on ps3 in 3d its amazing I love it. But I still dont have the heart to do the human side.

The human side is pretty fun and you get two chances to join the na'vi during the campaign. I only played it once just to beat the full game.

Does anyone know if the Wii version of the Avatar game is worth buying? I have it for the 360 (hopefully they will back-compat it for the Xbone one day, but I'm not holding my breath), but I noticed at my local gamestop that they have a used copy of Avatar for the Wii for five bucks.

Worth getting or don't bother?

I never played on that platform but I can say this: if you are a die hard avatar fan then any game related to avatar is worth buying. The 360 version was not highly rated but I loved it cuz I loved the movie. I still play it.


You can't go wrong for $5. Trade in an old dust-collecting game to get it free.

i have still have my xbox360 Avatar game but haven't played it in years. my old 2008 xbox elite still works, but it's glitchy at times.

neytiriomaticaya, you should play on pc, you can play in 1080p and have better graphics if that would make your experience better. i've obtained great results with an ATI RADEON HD 4870 512 MB

yes, it officially supports windows 7 but i also have it running on 8.1 i do not know about windows 10

I've never played it - I wasn't into modern gaming when the original came out. I'm still not a massive/serious gamer now but would be interesting in giving it a try. I mainly like open world / free roaming games, but anything in Pandora is worth a look I imagine What's the best way of getting it for Win10? I definitely couldn't play as a human... ironically enough, I don't think I've got it in me.

I have never considered myself to be a gamer, but I played a lot of games, just not very often. My interest in games is usually exploration of the presented worlds. As long as the sequence of buttons I have to push is not too difficult or frustrating, and if what happens on the screen is not too repetitive, it is already fine for me. So I don't think you need to be a gamer for this

What's the best way of getting it for Win10?

My short answer would be: the internet. It's easy to find if you know where to look

Just looked on Amazon and Ebay yesterday and thought being so forgotten you could get an old boxed copy for a few dollars.... oh dear gods was I wrong on that 🙀

Guess I'll have to wait for the new game. Anyone else hyped for that one?

Yeah, my go to "unconventional" options for finding it have been fruitless so far, as official copies are stupid prices. It's a real shame the publishers didn't do a remastering and re-release of the original game on Steam in preparation for the new movie. That really was a missed opportunity for them. Definitely looking forward to the new game - I'm hoping my system will be up to it though, as it's getting long in the tooth.

A quick search reveals basically nothing about the system requirements. One says a GTX 780 is minimum, the other says a GTX 1060. Both seem implausible to me. There are already games that need more than a 780 to run a low settings and a 1060 would just exclude to many players.

I hope my old 1070 will still be enough to run it on my 1440p monitor, downscaling to 1080p on a 1440p monitor looks scary.
